Alicja Prussakowska : Tilia

Imaginé par la designer Alicja Prussakowska, "Tilia" est un concept de mobilier hybride alliant structure d’assise et porte-manteaux. Destinée aux espaces d’accueil et d’attente, la structure ondulante de cette création s’inspire des brins d’herbes bercés par le vent.

Sur une base rectangulaire et évidée, viennent se glisser de simples bâtons de bois munis de 3 dents qui permettent d'y suspendre autant de vêtements.

Sur ce projet, la designer Alicja Prussakowska précise :

"This object was designed to be fitted in the hall space. While designing the form of the hanger I was inspired by shape of the grass blowing in the breeze. Sublime detail highlight the beauty and nobility of the wood and presents the value of traditional craft.
The associations with the human-friendly natural environment and the feeling of comfort and freedom of use, the originality and uniqueness of this piece of furniture as a master work of human hands, distinguish this hanger among mass-produced furniture."
