"Chiara’s chair is born after a talk with Jerry Helling, who was searching for a comfortable seat as much discreet as possible, a piece of furniture without any effects, with a line fading away.

This was not calling for austerity nor from the dryness of a poor talk. A need for simplicity which explains itself in an environment where a sign often prevails on the content. Chiara has for goal to be integrated in various environments.

I was seeking to design a chair, which its lines will flow right under your eyes, without any disturbance. A shape thanks to its proportions and its design fits as much as possible its duty / position.

Chiara also calls to mind a deep comfort, and on a second thought offers a dreamlike dimension, a vision of a feather or a petal from which it got its inspiration. Chiara’s discretion is finally making it necessary."
