Pawel Grobelny : Banc Arc

Pour l'éditeur Delivié, le designer polonais Pawel Grobelny a imaginé le banc en aluminium et teck "Arc".

Pensé aussi bien pour l'intérieur que l'extérieur, cette assise minimale se courbe en son centre pour accueillir une plaque de teck vernie créant un intéressant contraste entre le bois tropical et le métal.

Sur ce projet, Pawel Grobelny précise :

"The bench is made of aluminum alloy enclosed into the body by welding in two metal sheets which are carefully sanded so that welds are invisible and at the same time provide a high level of durability to the bench. The whole seat is covered with exotic teak wood - which because of its unique structure and a high content of natural oils and silica, makes this material extremely durable and resistant to external factors. The teak board is further secured with a special oil for exotic wood, providing long lasting protection."

Dimensions (L x l x h) : 130 x 45 x 45 cm (petit modèle) et 160 x 45 x 45 cm (grand modèle).
