Luca Nichetto : Float

Pour La Chance, nouvelle maison d’édition française de mobilier et de luminaire fondée par Jean-Baptiste Souletie et Louise Breguet, Luca Nichetto a dessiné "Float", une table basse en métal dont le

 plateau semble en équilibre comme une toupie sur sa pointe.









Sur ce projet, l'agence de Luca Nichetto précise:

"Float low table is a large turned over cone that looks like floating on a stretch of water. The designer’s intention behind this project was to create a functional object exploring in details the metal leaf turnery technology. Thanks to this technology it’s possible to create circular volumes in various dimensions which are normally used for the aircraft components. Float has a very simple shape which let you play with the shades of lights between the cone’s intense color and the reflective steel base making it a scenographic object and a large useful piece of furniture for the living area."
