Ahmet Sismanoglu : Tabouret SuperSputnik "SuperSputnik" a été imaginé par l'ingénieur et designer Ahmet Sismanoglu pour sa propre maison d'édition Sisman. Inspiré des lignes du célèbre satellite soviétique lancé en 1957, ce tabouret se compose d'une assise en bois posée sur trois pieds en acier. Léger et très robuste, l'ensemble pèse moins de 2 kilogrammes et peut résister à une charge verticale de 300 kg. "SuperSputnik" est proposé en deux hauteurs différentes, avec assise en noyer, en chêne et en poirier naturel ou peint en blanc, jaune, rouge ou bleu. Le piétement est lui disponible en finition chromée ou poudrée noir, rouge ou blanc. Sur ce projet, Ahmet Sismanoglu précise: "SuperSputnik combines beautifully treated massive wooden seattops with an intelligent wireframe structure. Engineer and designer Ahmet Sismanoglu calculated a wireframe that offers a flexible seattop into bending and turning direction but remaining stiff vertically up to 300kg. Any detail is precisely designed to reduce material and weight but to increase ergonomics, function and aesthetics.
