Studio Ayaskan : Growth

Growth est un pot pour plantes directement inspiré de l'origami japonais. Originalité imaginée par le studio Ayaskan : le pot grandit au fil du temps et de la croissance des plantes.

L'origami du pot se déploie dans un système triangulaire au fur et à mesure du temps. Les designers ont étés inspirés par le mouvement perpétuel de la nature. Contrairement aux objets courants qui restent statiques, ils ont imaginé un pot qui évolue et se transforme.

Les designers précisent :
"The life cycle of a plant is a transformation, from an early seed to its full grown size; the blooming of a flower, the unfolding of a leaf, the branching of the roots. This process is what GROWTH aims to capture within a plant pot.

There is a strong disconnect between nature and the environments we are used to and comfortable in as humans. The spaces and objects we build and surround us with are very static. In nature, everything evolves, adapts, grows, blooms, degrades, dies, gets absorbed, reused. Nothing stands still. Everything flows."
