"The inspiration for the "Amirite Collection" (the name of the collection comes from a play-on-words - "AM I RIGHT") initially came from simplicity and the connection of two materials steel and wood. In addition, the idea of minimizing production cost and thinking about the impact of a product, from production, shipping and assembly was a large influence in the design of this collection. The bodies of the units are comprised of a single piece of laser-cut steel. The flat pattern is then thoughtfully bent into shape to give structure, comfort, and style. The legs are crafted out of solid wood and mounted flush to the steel body, or option for monochrome legs out of steel. The legs are easily assembled after shipping with included hex connectors allowing for a smaller shipping parcel and lower cost."
