Etudiant en architecture à San Luis Obispo aux Etats-Unis, Patrick Delorey a imaginé ce meuble en bois à la façade ondulée.

Sur ce projet, Patrick Delorey précise:

"This furniture project seeks to expose plywood’s expressive potential via the precision and speed made possible with digital fabrication. Plywood’s fundamental character, that of a laminate, is typically considered only for its structural and performative properties, not for its potential as ornament.

This unique material expression is integrated into the function of the piece through the drawer pulls, which are formed by local discontinuities in the undulating forms of the drawer fronts.

The final material expression is noteworthy also in the sense that it functions as a contour map, referencing the means of its own morphogenesis."
